Die heutige Maniküre ist einfach, aber, wie ich finde, sehr schick und modern 🙂 Eine Freundin von mir (Danke, Roby!) hat die Idee zu dieser Farbkombination von Taupe und Rot gehabt. Sie trägt roten Nagellack sehr gerne, allerdings ist er ihr im täglichen Berufsalltag zu auffällig. Darum meinte sie, dass sie gerne einmal ausprobieren würde, alle Nägel mit einem dezenten Taupe zu lackieren und nur den Ringfinger mit rotem Lack zu betonen. Mir hat diese Idee sofort gefallen!

Today I have a simple yet very chic and modern manicure to show you 🙂 A friend of mine (Thanks, Roby!) had the idea of the color combination of taupe and red. She loves to wear red nail polish, however, for everyday work she finds it a little too much. That’s why she mentioned to me, that she wanted to try to paint all nails except the ring finger with a discreet taupe nail polish and the ring finger with a bright red. I immediately loved the idea!

Seit Chanel den taupefarbenen Lack Particulière vor ein paar Jahren auf den Markt gebracht hat, ist Taupe DIE Nagellackfarbe des modernen Understatement-Looks. OPI hat diesen Herbst mit dem LiquidSand-Lack It’s All San Andreas’s Fault aus der San Francisco Collection eine Texture-Variante herausgebracht, die ich für diese Maniküre verwendet habe.

Ever since Chanel has put the taupe nail polish Particulière on the market a few years ago, taupe is THE go-to polish color for a modern understatement look. This fall OPI released with its LiquidSand-polish It’s All San Andreas’s Fault from the San Francisco Collection a textured version which I used for this manicure.

Ich trage auf allen Nägeln außer dem Ringfinger 2 Schichten OPI It’s All San Andreas’s Fault und auf dem Ringfinger 2 Schichten Zoya Miranda (beides ohne Top Coat). OPI It’s All San Andreas’s Fault aus der LiquidSand-Reihe ist ein reiner Cremelack ohne Glitter und ich muss sagen, dass mir das Finish wider Erwarten sehr gut gefällt und mich irgendwie an die Oberfläche von weichem Leder erinnert 🙂 Zoya Miranda aus der PixieDust Summer 2013 Collection ist ein wunderschöner rosaroter (himbeerroter?) Texture-Lack mit Glitter.

On all my nails except the ring finger I am wearing 2 coats of OPI It’s All San Andreas’s Fault and on my ring finger 2 coats of Zoya Miranda (both without top coat). OPI It’s All San Andreas’s Fault from the LiquidSand range is a pure cream without glitter and contrary to my expectations I really like the finish. Somehow it reminds me of the surface of soft leather 🙂 Zoya Miranda from the PixieDust Summer 2013 Collection is a beautiful rosy (raspberry red?) textured polish with glitter.
