Ich werde niemals diesen schrecklichen Moment im Kino während des Films Skyfall vergessen, als das wunderschöne Bond Girl Sévérine, gespielt von Bérénice Marlohe, nach kaum mehr als zehn Minuten Leinwandpräsenz erschossen wurde. Sie war der einzige Grund gewesen, aus dem ich mich überhaupt dazu entschlossen hatte, Skyfall im Kino anzusehen. In meiner ersten Verzweiflung ließ ich mich zu der absurden Annahme verleiten, dass Sévérine in Wahrheit gar nicht tot wäre, sondern nur verletzt. Im weiteren Verlauf des Films kam die Ernüchterung: Bond Girls werden nicht verletzt – sie leben oder sterben. Und manche müssen sofort sterben – wie Sévérine. Dabei war sie in meinen Augen eines der interessantesten und exotischsten Bond Girls aller Zeiten. Darum ist ihr dieser Post gewidmet! (wenn ich schon sonst nichts für sie tun habe können!?!!)

I will never forget this dreadful moment at the movies during Skyfall when the beautiful Bond Girl Sévérine portrayed by Bérénice Marlohe got shot after little more than ten minutes on the screen. She had been the only reason why I had decided to go to the movie in the first place. Still in shock my desperate mind came up with the most ridiculous assumption: Sévérine was not really dead but only injured. The next minutes of the film revealed to me the all too evident truth: Bond Girls don’t get injured – they live or die. And some of them have to die right away – like Sévérine. Even though in my opinion she was one of the most interesting and exotic Bond Girls of all times. That’s why I dedicate this post to her! (I couldn’t have done anything else for her, could I?!!)

Ich trage 2 Schichten OPI Skyfall und darüber 1 Schicht Girly bits Crunchy Leaves, einen Glitterlack mit kleinen kupferfarbenen, brauen, roten und orangen Glitterpartikeln. Der Name ‘Crunchy Leaves’ passt perfekt! 🙂 Auf dem Ringfinger trage ich 2 Schichten des Liquid Sand Lackes von OPI Baby Please Come Home.

I am wearing 2 coats of OPI Skyfall and 1 coat Girly bits Crunchy Leaves, a glitter topper with small copper, brown, red and orange glitters in a sheer brownish base. The name ‘Crunchy Leaves’ fits perfectly! 🙂 On my ring finger I am wearing 2 coats of the liquid sand polish OPI Baby Please Come Home.
