Ich habe Polish Me Silly (früher Lush Lacquer) Clowing Around schon zwei Mal in meiner Neon Summer Serie (siehe hier und hier) verwendet, aber dieser Glitterlack ist so schön, dass es schade wäre, ihn nicht öfter zu verwenden! Clowning Around ist ein klarer Lack mit mattem Neon-Glitter in vielen Farben und Größen. Obwohl Clowning Around natürlich für den Sommer gemacht wurde, finde ich, dass Weihnachten auch eine gute Gelegenheit ist, ihn wieder zu verwenden, denn erinnert der Neon-Glitter nicht an die vielen, guten Süßigkeiten und Zuckerln dieser glitzernden Jahreszeit? 😉
I’ve already shown you Polish Me Silly (former Lush Lacquer) Clowning Around twice in my Neon Summer Series (see here and here) but it’s such a gorgeous polish that it would be a shame not to use it more often! It is a clear base with tons of matte neon glitters in different colors and sizes. Although Clowning Around was clearly made for summer I guess holiday season is also a good time to use it since we can easily pretend that the neon glitters represent all the delicious sweets and candies that surround Christmas 😉
Polish Me Silly Clowning Around kommt am besten über einer hellen Untergrundfarbe zur Geltung, da der Neon-Glitter etwas durchsichtig ist und darum über einem dunklen Lack beinahe unsichtbar wird. Ich trage 1 Schicht Polish Me Silly Clowning Around über 2 Schichten des schimmernden Lacks OPI Ski Slope Sweetie.
Polish Me Silly Clowning Around is best used over a light base because the neon glitter is slightly translucent and kind of becomes invisible if applied over a darker base. I am wearing 1 coat of Polish Me Silly Clowning Around over 2 coats of the shimmery polish OPI Ski Slope Sweetie.

Thanks so much! The glitter is really special – I honestly think that the start of the neon glitter trend this summer was kind of revolutionary in the nail polish universe 😉 Ten years ago we were already happy about red and gold glitter!

I have a scarf that looks just like this mani. Well, its base colour is grey, not silver, but it’s got the same neon blobs. I’ll look for it this weekend. Will take a pic if I find it.
