Es gibt Lacke, die mir auf Anhieb super gefallen, deren Kauf ich aber hinauszögere, solange es geht (“Brauche ich das wirklich??”) oder aber, bis es nicht mehr geht, weil der Lack aufgelassen worden und nicht mehr erhältlich ist. Auf der anderen Seite gibt es Lacke, die mir gar nicht so besonders gefallen, die ich aber ohne lange Nachzudenken quasi im Vorbeigehen kaufe. Bei näherer Betrachtung ist das eine völlig paradoxe Verhaltensweise, da ich offensichtlich das Geld, das ich brauchen würde, um die Lacke, die mir sehr gut gefallen, zu kaufen, für andere Lacke ausgebe, die mir eigentlich ziemlich egal sind. Girly bits Star Spangled, ein blauer Jelly-Lack mit kleinem Glitter in rot und blau, gehört in die erste Kategorie und hier habe ich tatsächlich so lange gewartet, bis es beinahe zu spät war. Durch Zufall habe ich erfahren, dass Girly Bits einige Lacke, darunter auch Star Spangled, auflässt und gerade noch rechtzeitig habe ich den Lack bestellt. Knapp dem Tod entronnen … dieses Mal jedenfalls 😉

There are polishes which I love from the very moment I see them the first time, however, I keep delaying the purchase as long as possible (“Do I REALLY need this??”) and sometimes even until it isn’t possible any more because they are no longer available. On the other hand there are polishes that I don’t particularly like but I buy them anyway practically without thinking. On closer inspection this is a highly paradoxical behavior of mine because apparently I am waisting the money that I would need to buy the polishes I love for the purchase of polishes I do not even care about. Girly bits Star Spangled belongs to the first category and I actually waited until it was almost too late. By chance I found out that Girly bits was about to retire some polishes, among them Star Spangled, and right on time I managed to order it. Narrowly escaped death … at least this time 😉

Ich habe alle Nägel mit 2 Schichten OPI Keeping Suzi At Bay und einer Schicht Girly Bits Star Spangled lackiert. Anschließend habe ich auf die Nagelspitzen den rot-goldenen Glitterlack China Glaze Pure Joy und danach Lynnderella Pentimento aufgetragen. Lynnderella Pentimento ist ein toller Glitterlack mit Glitter in allen Farben und Formen und er ist so vielseitig, dass ich ihn schon für mehrere Maniküren verwendet habe – siehe meine Posts hier und hier!

I painted my nails with 2 coats of OPI Keeping Suzi At Bay and 1 coat of Girly bits Star Spangled. Then I applied the red and gold glitter polish China Glaze Pure Joy and Lynnderella Pentimento just to the nail tips. Lynnderella Pentimento is an amazing glitter topper that contains glitter in all kinds of colors and shapes.
