Ich liebe Putumayo World Music, die bekannt ist für ihre stimmungsvollen Zusammenstellungen internationaler Musik. Vor einigen Jahren brauchte ich am 24. Dezember noch dringend Geschenke für zwei Freunde und ich war über alle Maßen glücklich, als ich schließlich mit zwei Putumayo CDs aus einem Geschäft stolperte. Ich begann mich noch besser zu fühlen, als mir die geniale Idee kam, die Songs beider CDs in mp3 umzuwandeln und alle mp3-Files auf zwei Daten-CDs zu brennen. So würde jeder meiner Freunde doppelt so viele Musiktitel bekommen und – hier lag die wahre Genialität – ich konnte mir die originalen CDs behalten! Zu diesem Weihnachten hörte ich beinahe Tag und Nacht Putumayo und seit damals verbinde ich Weihnachten mit diesem coolen und exotischen Sound. Die heutige Maniküre erinnert mich an dieses fremdländische Flair und an die typischen, bunten Putumayo CD-Cover 🙂

I love Putumayo World Music which is well known for its happy and melodic compilations of international music. A few years ago on December 24 I urgently needed last minute gifts for two of my friends and I luckily ended up with two Putumayo CDs. I felt even luckier when I had the brilliant idea to convert both CDs to mp3 and then burn all mp3 files on two data CDs. That way each of my two friends would get twice as much titles AND – here comes the real brilliance – I got to keep the original Putumayos! At this Christmas I listened to Putumayo music day and night and I have associated its cool and exotic sound with Christmas ever since. Today’s manicure reminds me of the upbeat Putumayo spirit and its fun and colorful CD covers 🙂

Ich habe meine Nägel mit 2 Schichten OPI Glints Of Glinda und danach 2 Schichten Lynnderella Stay Goodbye lackiert. Die Punktreihen auf den Nagelspitzen habe ich mit Hilfe eines Dotting Tools und den Lacken Butter London Cotton Buds (weiß), China Glaze Poinsettia (rot) und OPI Warm Me Up (dunkelbraun) gemacht.

I painted my nails with 2 coats of OPI Glints Of Glinda and also 2 coats of Lynnderella Stay Goodbye. With a dotting tool I made the dot rows on the tips using the polishes Butter London Cotton Buds (white), China Glaze Poinsettia (red) and OPI Warm Me Up (dark brown).
