Ich hoffe, ihr habt ein tolles Silvester verbracht oder einfach ein gemütliches – das können die besten Silvesterabende sein 🙂 Ich war zu einer kleinen (und gemütlichen) Party bei einer Freundin eingeladen. Wir haben einen total netten Abend verbracht und natürlich haben wir viel zu viel gegessen!

Wow! This mani shouts HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I just wore one coat of Revlon Colorstay Midnight (creamy, dark teal) and one coat of Revlon Chroma Chameleon Topaz (greenish duochrome). I wanted to do something glittery but I had so much to do and tons of food to prepare, that I just left my nails alone that day.
I did some stamping later on the 1st, though. I need to check if some of the pics I took look alright = worthy of sharing.

Duochromes are very festive! I like them very much on others but unfortunately not on myself because somehow they make my hands appear really red 😦
I started to try stamping about a year ago and to be honest it’s driving me crazy. It never ever turns out the way I want it and there are always parts of the design that don’t transfer to the nail. Hope you’re doing better! 😉

I love duochromes but for some reason I think that on me they don’t look half as good as I expect them to. Weird!
Stamping… well, for me it’s easy, but I’m not aiming for perfection. I like the results I achieve. And from a distance the manis do look great.
I love the designs if I don’t stare at my nails for minutes and generally don’t look too closely.
Random people on the train look at my nails with admiration – but they don’t stare either and they’re more than 2 inches away from me. So yes, my stamping is so-so, but from a distance it looks fab. 😀
