Happy Sunday! 🙂 Kairi von K’s NailArt hat vorgeschlagen, eine taupefarbene Gradient-Maniküre zu machen und mir hat die Idee sofort gefallen. Die OPI Brazil Collection enthält drei zusammenpassende Taupetöne, die perfekt sind für einen Farbverlauf (ich habe diese Lacke auch schon für eine Ombre-Maniküre verwendet). Mir gefällt das Ergebnis sehr gut, obwohl die Farbübergänge nicht ganz so leicht hinzubekommen waren, wie ich das erwartet hätte. Wenn man nach einem dezenten, aber gleichzeitig raffinierten Look sucht, dann ist das genau das richtige 🙂

Happy Sunday! 🙂 Kairi from K’s NailArt suggested to do a taupe gradient and I immediately loved the idea. The OPI Brazil Collection contains three matching shades of taupe, so I figured they would be perfect for a gradient (I’ve already used them for an Ombre Manicure). I really like the result although the polishes did not blend as easily as I had expected. If you’re ever looking for a subtle yet sophisticated look that would be it 🙂

Ich habe begonnen mit einer Schicht OPI Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around als Grundierung. Dann habe ich mit einem MakeUp-Schwamm und den Lacken OPI Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around, OPI Taupe-less Beach und OPI I Sao Paolo Over There einen Farbverlauf aufgetupft. Sobald das Ganze trocken war, habe ich noch den Schimmerlack OPI Next Stop … The Bikini Zone auf die Nagelspitzen getupft.

I started out with 1 coat of OPI Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around as a base. Then I took a make-up sponge and sponged on the gradient with OPI Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around, OPI Taupe-less Beach and OPI I Sao Paolo Over There. When everything was dry I added a hint of the shimmer polish OPI Next Stop … The Bikini Zone just on the nail tips.
