Heute ist ein grauer Sonntag und ich spreche nicht vom Wetter. Ich fühle mich gelangweilt und vollkommen uninspiriert. Um das zu ändern zeige ich heute eine Maniküre in meiner zweitliebsten Farbe: lila (zweite nach Pink, der Farbliebe meines Lebens)! Ich habe 2 Schichten Zoya Hudson auf Ringfinger, kleinen Finger und Daumen aufgetragen und 3 Schichten Picture Polish Imperial auf Mittelfinger und Zeigefinger.
Today is a gray Sunday and I am not talking about the weather. I feel bored and uninspired. In order to change that I decided to show you a manicure that rocks my second favorite color: lilac/purple (second to pink, the color love of my life)! I applied 2 coats of Zoya Hudson to ring finger, pinkie and thumb and 3 coats of Picture Polish Imperial to middle and index finger.
Picture Polish Imperial ist ein kühles, leuchtendes Violett mit blauen Glass Flecks und kleinem goldrosa Hex-Glitter. Während ich von Picture Polish Mallard etwas enttäuscht war, bin ich wirklich beeindruckt von Imperial. Die Farbe ist wunderschön und ich liebe die vereinzelten Glitterpartikel. Der Lack ist eine Bereicherung für jede Sammlung – sei sie auch noch so groß 😉 Das Gegenteil gilt meiner Meinung nach für Zoya Hudson. Er gehört zur neuen Zoya Spring 2014 Awaken Collection und ich war absolut davon überzeugt, nicht ohne diesen Lack leben zu können. Als er einmal auf den Nägeln war, habe ich ihn leider nur mehr fürchterlich langweilig gefunden. Wenn man allerdings nach einem sehr dezenten lila Schimmerlack sucht, der auch bürotauglich ist, dann ist Zoya Hudson perfekt 🙂
Picture Polish Imperial is a vibrant, cool-toned purple with blue glass flecks and small rose gold hex glitters. While I was a little bit disappointed in Picture Polish Mallard, I really adore Imperial. The color is incredibly beautiful and I love the small hex glitters in it. This is definitely a polish worth having. Zoya Hudson on the other hand isn’t. It is from the new Zoya Spring 2014 Awaken Collection and I was firmly convinced that I cannot live without it. Once on the nails I found it incredibly boring. But if you’re looking for a subtle lilac shimmer which is also office appropriate this is your polish 🙂
An April shower just started! I like it because now I think of May flowers 🙂

Imperial looks amazing! I have a few Picture Polish nail varnishes, but this isn’t one of them. I totally know what you mean about Mallard though, I think I’ve worn it about once, I want to love it so much more than I do. xxx

Imperial is definitely a polish worth having! 🙂 In general I’m a little bit torn about Picture Polish. Imperial is wonderful alright but all the other Picture Polish lacquers are not special at all in my opinion.

I kind of know what you mean.Some Picture Polish nail varnishes I absolutely love (Ocean for example), but others I’m not that fussed on (Mallard for example, had it for about a year, still not worn it!). xxx

Danke! 🙂 Imperial und Mallard sind eigentlich die einzigen Lacke, die mich von Picture Polish jemals interessiert haben. Und die Sache mit Mallard kennen wir eh 😉 Ansonsten ist mir der Höhenflug von Picture Polish bissl ein Rätsel. Find auch, dass die Lacke von vielen Bloggerinnen extrem und eigentlich übertrieben gepusht werden.
