Wie versprochen zeige ich euch heute einen Vergleich zwischen OPI You’re So Vain-illa aus der Coca-Cola Collection und OPI My Vampire Is Buff aus der letztjährigen Euro Central Collection. Beide Lacken sind mehr oder weniger cremefarben und man muss sie wirklich nebeneinander sehen, um einen guten Eindruck von der Ähnlichkeit zu bekommen.

As promised, today I’m showing you a comparison between OPI You’re So Vain-illa from the Coca-Cola Collection and OPI My Vampire Is Buff from last year’s spring collection Euro Central. Both are more or less off-whites and you really have to see them side by side to get a good picture.

Ich trage OPI You’re So Vain-illa auf Ring- und Zeigefinger und OPI My Vampire Is Buff auf Mittelfinger und kleinem Finger. My Vampire Is Buff ist klassisch cremefarben während You’re So Vain-illa etwas dünkler, gedeckter ist und eher in Richtung Braun geht. Die Lacke sind wirklich sehr ähnlich und doch unterscheiden sie sich meiner Meinung nach in der allgemeinen Erscheinung ganz deutlich: Obwohl My Vampire Is Buff cremefarben ist, wirkt die Farbe frisch und strahlend, was ich sehr schön finde. You’re So Vain-illa auf der anderen Seite verschmilzt stärker mit dem Hautton. Der braune Unterton ist für mich sehr dominant und vermutlich gefällt mir die Farbe deshalb auch nicht so gut. Ich möchte beinahe sagen, You’re So Vain-illa wirkt stumpf auf mich. Welcher Lack gefällt euch besser?

I am wearing OPI You’re So Vain-illa on my ring and index finger and OPI My Vampire Is Buff on middle and pinkie. My Vampire Is Buff is a true creme color whereas You’re So Vain-illa is more muted, slightly darker and more brown-leaning. They are quite similar but in my personal opinion there’s a crucial difference between the two polishes in the overall appearance: Even though being an off-white My Vampire Is Buff is fresh and bright, which I love. You’re So Vain-illa on the other hand is really tamed down and more a shade of nude. The brown undertone is strikingly dominant for me and I guess that’s why I don’t like it that much. It feels even dull to me. Which polish do you prefer?
