Ich schäme mich zu berichten, dass A England Tristam bis vor kurzem inmitten meiner noch nicht verwendeten Lacke seit letzten Weihnachten untätig herumgelungert ist. Das hat er nicht verdient!! Um dieses unverantwortliche Versäumnis wieder gutzumachen, habe ich mich entschieden, Tristam als Basis für diese bunte Glitter-Gradient-Maniküre zu verwenden. Ich nenne sie Alice im Wunderland-Maniküre, weil das das erste war, was mir eingefallen ist, als ich über einen Titel für diesen Post nachgedacht habe 🙂
I am ashamed to report that until recently, A England Tristam has been sitting among my untrieds since last Christmas. He doesn’t deserve that!! To make up for my irresponsible neglect I decided to use it as a base for this colorful and fun gradient manicure. I call it Alice in Wonderland manicure because this was the very first thing that came to my mind when I thought about a title for this post 🙂
Ich habe zuerst 2 Schichten A England Tristam aufgetragen. Dann habe ich mit Hilfe eines Make-up-Schwamms einen Farbverlauf mit A England Tristam und A England Briar Rose aufgetupft. Schließlich habe ich die Glitterlacke Lynnderella Bunny Nosegay, Ninja Polish Girly Floam and Ninja Polish Sunny Floam auf die Nagelspitzen aufgetragen.
I applied 2 coats of A England Tristam. When dry I made a gradient with A England Tristam and A England Briar Rose. Finally I dabbed some glitter polishes just on the tips: Lynnderella Bunny Nosegay, Ninja Polish Girly Floam and Ninja Polish Sunny Floam.
How many untrieds do you have? Don’t be shy and make me feel better about myself 🙂

Oh my goodness this is so beautiful! I wouldn’t say I’m guilty of having many untried polishes, but what I am bad at is trying them once and then not wearing them ever again. Whoops!

I remember that Tristam is one of your favorite a england varnishes and I thought of you when I did this manicure 🙂 And you were absolutely right: Tristam is a gorgeous polish! It makes me think of sparkly denim 😉

Das sieht klasse aus! Hätte nicht gedacht, dass du dafür so viele verschiedene Lacke benutzt hast… 😉 Du darfst dich ruhig besser fühlen – ich habe geschätzt 60 bis 80% meiner Nagellacke noch nie benutzt. 😦

Danke! Mir hat die fertige Maniküre dann auch super gefallen – ist ja nicht selbstverständlich, wenn man mit mehreren Lacken herummurkst 🙂
Ich hab echt eine ganze Menge noch nicht probierter Lacke zu Haus und das ist schon öd. Ich komm einfach nicht nach mit Lackieren 😉

Thank you! This is actually the best gradient I did in quite a while! It also looked great pre-glitter 🙂 The two a england polishes blended very well. And glitter makes everything even better 😉
