Nach dieser Woche sind wir voll ausgestattet für die Weihnachtszeit. Und doch fehlt noch etwas: die Trendfarbe Schwarz! In den letzten Jahren sind nachtdunkle Nägel für festliche Anlässe groß in Mode gekommen. Darum überrascht es nicht, dass große Nagellackmarken wie z.B. Zoya schwarze oder sehr dunkle Lacke in Weihnachtskollektionen inkludieren. Wie ihr euch denken könnt, befinden sich in meiner Sammlung einige Lacke, die ebenfalls in die nachtdunkle Kategorie fallen 🙂

After this week we are fully equipped for the holidays. Yet there is still something missing: the new festive trend color black! In the last years super dark nails have become really popular for festivities. So it’s no surprise to find black or near black polishes in the holiday collections of big nail polish brands like Zoya. As you might guess, there are quite a few polishes in my stash that fall in this dark as night category 🙂

Es ist Samstag und darum beginnen wir diesen Post mit einem Aperitif: und zwar mit schwarzem Glitter! Ihr seht hier den brandaktuellen schwarzen Glitterlack OPI Comet In The Sky aus der Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection. Er enthält schwarzen und transparent irisierenden Glitter in unterschiedlichen Größen. Ich habe 1 Schicht auf dem Mittel- und Ringfinger über Azature Nude Diamond aufgetragen. Prost! 😉

It is Saturday, so why not start this post with an aperitif: a black glitter topper! The picture shows the new glitter polish OPI Comet In The Sky from the Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection. It contains black and iridescent glitter in different sizes. I applied 1 coat on middle and ring finger over Azature Nude Diamond. Cheers! 😉

Ein Neuzugang in meiner Kollektion ist Zoya Storm (Ringfinger), ein schwarzer Crellylack mit holographischen Glitzer-Partikeln. Ebenfalls völlig schwarz ist der Liquid Sand-Lack OPI Emotions (Mittelfinger), der schwarzen Hex-Glitter enthält. Beide Lacke gehören zu meinen absoluten Lieblingen! Aus der aktuellen OPI Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection ist OPI First Class Desires (kleiner Finger), ein violett-schwarzer Lack mit lebhaftem, goldenem Schimmer, der toll ist für jeden, der wärmere Schattierungen bevorzugt. Zoya Sansa ist beinahe identisch. Hier findet ihr einen Vergleich der 2 Lacke. Schließlich habe ich in diesem Bild noch einen schwarzen Jelly-Lack von KBShimmer inkludiert: KBShimmer Strung Out (Zeigefinger). Er ist vor einem Jahr herausgekommen und enthält kreisrunden Glitter in gold, silber, grün, blau und rot. Er erinnert mich an bunte Lichtergirlanden in der Nacht!

A rather new polish of mine is Zoya Storm (ring), a black crelly with holographic particles in it. The Liquid Sand OPI Emotions (middle) is also entirely black with the typical texture grit and black hexes. I adore both polishes! OPI First Class Desires (pinkie) from the new OPI Gwen Stefani Holiday Collection is perfect for everyone who wants something a little bit warmer. It is a blackened purple with a strong gold shimmer. Zoya Sansa is extremely similar and we might as well call them dupes. Check out my comparison of the two here. And then I also included a black jelly from KBShimmer in this picture: KBShimmer Strung Out (index). It was released one year ago at Christmas and it contains circle glitter in gold, silver, green, blue and red. It reminds me of twinkling Christmas lights in the night!

Schwarz und Rot sind beste Freunde und sorgen für einen geheimnisvollen, sexy Look. Man muss halt aufpassen, dass man nicht wie ein Krampus daherkommt 😉 Von OPI gibt es zwei schwarz basierte Lacke mit rotem Glitter. Wir haben einerseits den Liquid Sand OPI Stay The Night (Zeigefinger) und andererseits OPI Today I Accomplished Zero (Mittelfinger), der – mit Hilfe von gutem Top Coat – glänzend getragen wird. Auf dem Ringfinger trage ich auch einen Lack mit schwarzer Basis, aber diesmal mit silbernem Glitter: Sally Hansen Luxe Tux. Noch cooler wäre dieser Lack für mich mit goldenem Glitter! Zum Schluss seht ihr auf diesem Bild OPI Live And Let Die (kleiner Finger), einen schwarzgrünen Schimmerlack. Er hat eine super Konsistenz, lässt sich fabelhaft auftragen und deckt in einer Schicht. Ich denke, ich werde mir jetzt gleich eine Reserveflasche bestellen!!

Black and red are best friends and make for a mysterious, vampy look. You just have to make sure not to be mistaken for the devil’s mistress 😉 There are two black based polishes with red glitter from OPI. On one hand we have the Liquid Sand OPI Stay The Night (index) which is a textured polish and on the other hand there is OPI Today I Accomplished Zero (middle) which is supposed to be worn shiny (you need a good amount of top coat though). On my ring finger I am also wearing a black based polish but this one has silver glitter in it: Sally Hansen Luxe Tux. I would like it even more with gold instead of silver glitter! I also had to add OPI Live And Let Die (pinkie) to this little compilation because it is just drop-dead gorgeous. It is a greenish black shimmer with a superb formula. The polish applies like a dream and covers completely in 1 coat. I guess I will order a back-up bottle right now!!
