Marsala – Color of the Year 2015 {December 13}

Im Laufe der letzten Wochen habe ich immer wieder ungeduldig auf die Website von Pantone geschaut und jetzt endlich haben sie die Information veröffentlicht, nach der ich die ganze Zeit gesucht habe. Sie haben die Farbe des Jahres 2015 bekannt gegeben: Marsala. Sie wird beschrieben als “natürlich robustes und erdiges Weinrot” (robust?). Natürlich habe ich sofort meine Sammlung nach passenden Lacken durchkämmt und tatsächlich habe ich vier gefunden, die farblich beinahe exakt mit Marsala übereinstimmen!

Over the last couple of weeks I have been stalking Pantone.com and now they finally released the information that I have been looking for. They announced the Color of the Year 2015: Marsala. It is described as “a naturally robust and earthy wine red” (robust?). Of course I immediately searched my stash for polishes in this exact color and I found four that are almost a perfect match!

Zuerst haben wir zwei Cremelacke: Ich trage Zoya Marney aus der Naturel Deux Collection auf dem Mittelfinger und OPI Scores A Goal! aus der Brazil Collection auf dem Ringfinger. OPI Scores A Goal! ist eine Spur rötlicher. Als nächstes haben wir einen wunderschön weichen Schimmerlack: OPI I Knead Sour-Dough aus der San Francisco Collection auf dem kleinen Finger. Und schließlich seht ihr einen meiner absoluten Lieblingslacke auf dem Zeigefinger: Nicole by OPI Cinna-man Of My Dreams, einen rötlich braunen Texture-Lack!

First we have two cremes: I’m wearing Zoya Marney from the Naturel Deux Collection on my middle finger and OPI Scores A Goal! from the Brazil Collection on my ring finger. OPI Scores A Goal! is slightly more red toned. Then we have a beautiful soft shimmer: OPI I Knead Sour-Dough from the San Francisco Collection on my pinkie. And finally I’m showing you one of my favorite polishes of all times on my index finger: Nicole by OPI Cinna-man Of My Dreams, a reddish brown texture!
