Noch bevor der Texture-Trend vor zwei Jahren begonnen hat, sind von China Glaze vier Lacke herausgekommen, die vermutlich nicht als Texture-Lacke gedacht waren, aber tatsächlich welche sind. Ich spreche von den Mikroglitter-Lacken aus der China Glaze Holiday Joy 2012 Collection: Angel Wings (gold mit Holo-Effekt), Glistening Snow (silber mit Holo-Effekt), Winter Holly (grün mit ein bisschen Holo-Effekt) und Champagne Kisses (roségold). Even before the texture trend started about two years ago, China Glaze released four polishes that were not supposed to be textures but are indeed textures. I’m talking about the micro glitters of the China Glaze Holiday Joy 2012 Collection: Angel Wings (gold holo), Glistening Snow (silver holo), Winter Holly (green with a little bit of holo) and Champagne Kisses (rose gold). I’m showing you China Glaze Angel Wings today!

Diese vier Lacke haben alle eine transparente Basis, die gefüllt ist mit Mikroglitter, der nicht nur ein bisschen rau trocknet, wie man das ohnehin erwarten würde, sondern richtig schlimm rau – so sehr, dass es trotz mehrerer Liter Top Coat nicht möglich ist, eine perfekt glänzende Oberfläche hinzubekommen. Vor zwei Jahren war ich über die raue Oberfläche ziemlich enttäuscht, aber jetzt kann ich die Lacke für das schätzen, was sie tatsächlich sind: Textures! Für die Bilder habe ich 3 Schichten China Glaze Angel Wings ohne Top Coat aufgetragen.

These four polishes all have a clear base packed with micro glitter that dries not just a little bit gritty as you would expect it but REALLY gritty – in a way that no matter what you do, you’ll never end up with a flawlessly shiny finish. Two years ago I was quite upset about the coarse finish but now I can appreciate these polishes for what they really are: textures! For the pictures I applied 3 coats of China Glaze Angel Wings without top coat.

Letztes Jahr habe ich eine Gradient-Maniküre mit der silbernen Variante China Glaze Glistening Snow gemacht, wie ihr unten seht. Lasst euch nicht täuschen von dem hochglänzenden Finish. Ich habe unfassbar viel Top Coat aufgetragen und ein paar Minuten, nachdem die Bilder gemacht waren, hat sich der raue Mikroglitter schon wieder auf der Oberfläche abgezeichnet.

Last year I showed you the silver version China Glaze Glistening Snow in a glitter gradient manicure. I include a picture below. Don’t be fooled by the uber-shiny surface. I applied insanely much top coat and a few minutes after having taken the pictures the texture started to peek through again.
