Just in time before we enter the fall collections frenzy I’m gonna show you my Top 5 polishes of this summer! While I had a very hard time picking my favorites last year, I was rather quick this year 🙂 Here are my top picks of this summer: KBShimmer Pink-a Colada, China Glaze Treble Maker, Starrily Gumballs, ILNP Money Bin and OPI Go With The Lava Flow!
KBShimmer Pink-a Colada is a hot pink jelly with holographic glitters in lime green, light blue and pink. If there was a drink called Pink-a Colada then it would look exactly like this 😉 It’s squishy and fruity and the perfect look for a carefree summer’s day! I applied 3 coats.
China Glaze Treble Maker is a neon green creme and part of the China Glaze Electric Nights Collection which offers several breathtaking neons! Treble Maker is unique in my stash and totally stands out from the other green shades I have. I applied 2 coats here.
Starrily Gumballs is a multicolor topper with neon circle glitters. This polish is the very epitome of summer for me. How could I not include it here?? 🙂 On the picture you see 1 coat of Gumballs over a neon skittle mani.
ILNP Money Bin is a gold/yellow holo with silver (or gold?) flakes. I included this polish not so much because of the color but because of the exceptional finish that combines holo pigment AND flakies! ILNP released several polishes with exactly the same concept and I think they are all gorgeous (check out Fame, Happily Ever After, Shoreline and Pink Mimosa)! 2 coats are enough for full opacity.
OPI Go With The Lava Flow is a coral shimmer with slight pink undertones. It is part of the Hawaii Collection. I love this cheery shade! It’s a great summery alternative to your classic red 🙂 You’re looking at 2 coats.
Have you switched to fall colors already or are you still rocking summery brights? 🙂
