ILNP Spring Jellies 2016 – Swatches & Review

ILNP Spring Jellies 2016: Sandy Baby, Sweet Pea, Jello Shot, Valerie, BFF's, Night Light

Hi Beauties! Today I have swatches of the ILNP Spring Jellies 2016 to show you! There are six polishes in the collection which all have a jelly formula with a bunch of holographic flakes mixed in. Yes, I’m super late – this collection has already been released in March but the colors are so versatile that you can wear them all year round. And they are so lovely! I just need to show them to you! They all have a sheer but easy-to-handle formula. Let’s dive right into it 🙂

ILNP Sandy Baby

ILNP Sandy Baby

Sandy Baby is a peach beige jelly with scattered holographic flakes. This color blends almost completely with my skin tone. I had the hardest time capturing its true color. Eventually I chose natural lighting for Sandy Baby and Sweet Pea. Now my pics are pretty much color accurate! 3 coats + Top Coat

ILNP Sweet Pea

ILNP Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea is a nude pink jelly with scattered holographic flakes. I love it and therefore included it in my Top 5 Spring Polishes! In comparison to Sandy Baby this is slightly more pink. However, Sweet Pea and Sandy Baby are EXTREMELY similar, up to the point where you cannot even tell them apart in dim lighting. I’m a little bit upset by the similarity of the two polishes. I don’t understand why ILNP would include both of them in one collection. 3c + TC

Jello Shot

ILNP Jello Shot

Jello Shot is a juicy pinkish red jelly with scattered holographic flakes. ILNP calls this color paradise pink and I think that’s spot on! 🙂 Jello Shot is the perfect kind of red for the warmer months of the year. 3c + TC

ILNP Valerie

ILNP Valerie

Valerie is a berry-colored jelly with scattered holographic flakes. Personally, I would rather wear this color in fall than in spring or summer, but it’s gorgeous nonetheless! 3c + TC

ILNP BFF’s

ILNP BFF's

BFF’s is a grape jelly with scattered holographic flakes. When I first saw pics of the Spring Jellies Collection I was a little bit disturbed by the inclusion of dark colors. For spring I want something light and vibrant! However, by now I’ve come to appreciate these darks for what they are: they have been specifically designed for spring and summer, because the holographic sparkle adds a light and feathery element to them. At least that’s my version of the story 😉 3c + TC

ILNP Night Light

ILNP Night Light

Night Light is a deep indigo jelly with scattered holographic flakes. I looooove this polish so much! The color in combination with the holo flakes is just divine! It’s like a starry night sky. (Don’t buy Essie’s Starry Starry Night, buy this gorgeous beauty instead!) I clearly prefer Night Light over BFF’s but that’s just a personal preference. 3c + TC

What do you think? Do you love them as much as I do? By the way, ILNP just released their new summer collection. It’s now available for pre-order on ILNP.com!
