I’ve found my favorite summer manicure for 2016: I’m mixing ILNP Ultra Holos with Ultra Metallics in an alternating fashion or a skittle mani! I love seeing the different styles side by side. Both Ultra Holos and Ultra Metallics have a holographic effect to them: The Ultra Holos contain very large holographic particles which make for a linear as well as a scattered holo effect. The Ultra Metallics are made of finer holographic pigment and silver and/or gold metallic flakes. Today we’re going to look at a mix of ILNP 1Up and ILNP Fame! 🙂

I tell you, I’m totally rediscovering the alternating style! It’s much more fun in the summer than your typical accent nails (ring accent, index & middle, middle & ring). I applied 2 coats of ILNP 1Up on middle, pinkie and thumb and 2 coats of ILNP Fame on index and ring finger. On the other hand I applied the two polishes the other way around starting with Fame on my pinkie.
